Donohue Brown Mathewson & Smyth is proud to announce that partner Edward E. Fu has been selected by Crain’s Chicago Business as a notable minority in law.
Mr. Fu received this prestigious recognition for his work in product liability, professional negligence and commercial litigation, as well as his positive influence on both the legal field and the community.
He has extensive experience representing manufacturers and businesses in product liability cases, breach of warranty cases, consumer fraud (ICFA) claims and breach of contract and franchise agreements. He also vigorously defends physicians and attorneys in malpractice actions and counsels clients appearing before their professional review boards.
In addition to his achievements as an attorney, Mr. Fu was recognized for his dedication to mentoring the next generation of lawyers and effecting change in the firm and community. As a hiring partner at Donohue Brown Mathewson & Smyth, he commits much of his time to guiding and mentoring lawyers at the beginning of their careers and helping them achieve success within the firm.
