Donohue Brown Mathewson & Smyth LLC is pleased to announce that Brian O’Kane has joined the firm as Senior Counsel. Mr. O’Kane has extensive litigation and trial experience since his admission to the Illinois Bar in 1997. For more than two decades, he has defended hospitals, physicians, and other allied health professionals in Illinois medical negligence lawsuits. He has successfully tried numerous cases to verdict in both medical negligence and premises liability matters. Mr. O’Kane has also achieved success for his clients by way of summary judgment, motions to dismiss and alternative dispute resolution.
