Biography
Meagan P. VanderWeele is an associate at Donohue Brown. She concentrates her practice in professional negligence, product liability, and commercial litigation defense.
Ms. VanderWeele joined the firm following her graduation magna cum laude from DePaul University College of Law in 2014. Upon graduation, she was elected to the Order of the Coif. At DePaul, Ms. VanderWeele served as Editor-in-Chief of the DePaul Business and Commercial Law Journal and a legal writing teaching assistant. She earned four CALI awards for Excellence in Legal Analysis, Writing & Communication II and II, Illinois Civil Procedure, and Civil Rights. During her third year, Ms. VanderWeele served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Justice Anne M. Burke of the Illinois Supreme Court. In September 2013, Ms.VanderWeele authored “In re Atm Fee Litigation: Ninth Circuit Uses Illinois Brick to Build a High Wall for Indirect Purchasers, 12 DePaul Bus. & Comm. L.J. 121 (Fall, 2013).
Ms. VanderWeele graduated with honors earning her BA in Political Science and Sociology, with a minor in Women’s Studies, at the University of Michigan in 2011.
