Biography
Lili Klainer joined Donohue Brown Mathewson & Smith LLC in September 2024 after graduating magna cum laude from the University of Illinois College of Law.
During law school, Ms. Klainer was a member of the Federal Civil Rights Clinic, which gave her the opportunity to try two cases to verdict in the United States District Court for the Central District of Illinois, before her graduation. She was also an active member of the Trial Advocacy program as a member of the Hofstra Medical-Legal Trial Competition Championship team, National Trial Competition Regional Finalist team, coach for the Phi Alpha Delta mock trial team, CALI Award recipient for both Federal Civil Rights Clinic and Mirza Trial Academy, and recipient of the Paul M. Lisnek Award for Excellence and Ethics in Trial Advocacy and Rickert Award for Excellence in Advocacy.
Prior to attending law school, Ms. Klainer graduated with a B.S. in Biology from Loyola University Chicago. She then worked in the medical field as a clinical assistant and patient care technician, gaining invaluable experience in the areas of Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, OB/gyn, Labor and Delivery, and NICU. Now, Ms. Klainer works to apply her medical experience and legal education to supporting clients through medical malpractice cases.
In her free time, Ms. Klainer enjoys practicing martial arts, musical theatre, and spending time with her husband, dog, and cat.
