Katherine B. Trucco is an associate at Donohue Brown Mathewson & Smyth.

Ms. Trucco joined the firm following her graduation from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2018, with a certificate in Advocacy. During law school, she served as the Executive Editor of Publications for the Loyola University Chicago Law Journal, where she also authored a Student Note titled “Nothing to Gain, Nothing to Lose: How Heffernan v. City of Paterson, N.J., Creates Section 1983 Liability Absent a Deprived Right,” 49 Loy. U. Chi. L.J. 149 (2017).

At Loyola, Ms. Trucco earned a CALI Award for Excellence in Constitutional Law and served as a Civil Procedure tutor under Professor Richard A. Michael. She also served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Judge Thomas M. Durkin, United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

She was a recipient of multiple scholarships, including the Law Alumni Endowed Scholarship, the Thomas F. and Patricia A. Bridgman Scholarship, as well as the Leahy and Hoste Scholarship.

Ms. Trucco earned her undergraduate degree in English and Political Science from the University of Michigan in 2013.
