Alexandra (Allie) R. Ewert

Biography

Alexandra R. Ewert, also known as Allie, is an associate at Donohue Brown Mathewson & Smyth.

Ms. Ewert graduated from DePaul University College of Law in 2023, where she obtained a Certificate in Health Law. While at DePaul, Ms. Ewert served as a staff writer for the DePaul Journal of Health Care Law, earned a place on the Dean’s List during multiple semesters, and received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for her academic excellence in Torts.

During Law School, Ms. Ewert worked as a law clerk at a plaintiff’s personal injury firm in Chicago and served as an Illinois Supreme Court Rule 711 student attorney for DePaul’s Civil Litigation and Health Law Clinic.

Before joining DBMS, Ms. Ewert was an associate at a personal injury and medical malpractice firm in Chicago, where she handled a variety of cases, including medical malpractice, nursing home abuse, and wrongful death litigation.

Apart from her career interests, Ms. Ewert is an avid college football fan and loves rooting for her alma mater, the Ole Miss Rebels.
