Erin S. Davis concentrates her practice in professional liability. She has extensive experience defending physicians, hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare professionals. She has represented providers from a broad spectrum of specialties, including neurosurgeons, obstetricians, intensivists, nephrologists, gastroenterologists, internists, and APNs. Ms. Davis has successfully first and second chaired trials on behalf of healthcare institutions. She has also achieved excellent results for clients through the use of dispositive motions and alternative dispute resolution, where appropriate.
Ms. Davis was named an Emerging Lawyer by Leading Lawyers beginning in 2015. Emerging Lawyers are identified by their peers to be among the top 2% of attorneys under the age of 40 in the state of Illinois. She was invited to join the Society of Trial Lawyers in 2016. The Society of Trial Lawyers is an organization of elite trial attorneys who are leaders in their field and deliver excellent results to their clients. Ms. Davis served on the Judicial Evaluation Committee of the Chicago Bar Association in 2017. Committee members are asked to rigorously investigate the qualifications of potential judges and make recommendations about election or retention.
Ms. Davis joined the firm in 2021 as Senior Counsel after practicing for 16 years at a Chicago medical malpractice firm. She is a 2005 graduate of DePaul University College of Law. She completed her undergraduate education at Saint Mary’s College, Notre Dame, Indiana. She is licensed in the states of Illinois and Indiana, and in the Northern District of Illinois.
