Todd J. Stalmack
Todd J. Stalmack concentrates his practice on the defense of physicians, hospitals, nursing homes and other health care facilities He has represented physicians from a number of specialties including orthopaedic surgeons, general surgeons, obstetricians, cardiologists, internists as well as nurses and other health care professionals. His legal experience also includes the defense of construction negligence, premises liability and warranty cases for Ford Motor Company.

In just the first ten years as a practicing trial attorney, Mr. Stalmack has enjoyed immense success in the courtroom. He has taken nearly a dozen cases to trial and received not guilty verdicts for a large majority of his clients.

Mr. Stalmack has been named to the Super Lawyers Rising Stars list as one of the top attorneys in Illinois for 2011. No more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the state are selected to the list. Super Lawyers, a Thompson Reuters business is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.

Mr. Stalmack has been an invited speaker for ISMIE Mutual Insurance Company risk management conferences including “Preventing Medical Misadventures” and “Case Studies in Medical Malpractice.” Mr. Stalmack also volunteers his time and legal talent to Northwestern University School of Law and Loyola University Chicago School of Law as a judge for their trial advocacy classes. He is a published author on commercial general liability insurance policies for the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education.

Mr. Stalmack joined the firm in 2001 after graduating from the University Of Denver College Of Law, where he was a member of Order of St. Ives, editor of the Denver University Law Review and recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award for Torts I, Torts II and Jurisprudence. He received his undergraduate degree from Lake Forest College. He currently lives in Evanston with his wife and young child.
