The landmark decision will benefit all manufacturing defendants facing design defect allegations. On May 26, 2010, the judges of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and the Chicago Chapter of the Federal Bar Association honored Mr. Boyle with an Award for Excellence in Pro Bono Service.
