Mr. Krivicich has also argued numerous appeals before the Illinois Appellate Courts and the federal Seventh Circuit and is counsel of record in over twenty published appellate court opinions. He has spoken before professional audiences on trial techniques, the Consumer Product Safety Act, and automotive product liability actions. Mr. Krivicich has been named a Leading Lawyer in the areas of Class Action/Mass Tort Defense Law and Products Liability Defense Law. The list of Leading Lawyers is the result of thousands of contacts with Illinois lawyers asking them which of their peers they believe comprise the top lawyers. Only those lawyers who are most often recommended qualify as Leading Lawyers. He has also been named a Super Lawyer in Illinois in the area of Civil Litigation Defense. Mr. Krivicich was the Chairman of the Management Committee of the firm from 2007 through 2010 and served as the Financial Partner from 2003 – 2007. Mr. Krivicich also served as one of the three members of the firm’s Compensation Committee for two years. He joined the firm as a partner in 1996. Previously he worked as a partner at Baker and McKenzie, and before that he was associated with Reuben & Proctor. Mr. Krivicich obtained his law degree from the University of Illinois, cum laude, and his undergraduate degree from Northwestern University. He is a former arbitrator in Cook County's arbitration program and a former director of the Trial Lawyers Club of Chicago. He was Chairman of the Zoning Board of Appeals, Western Springs, Illinois. |
