John A. Krivicich concentrates his practice in the area of product liability, with emphasis on the defense of automotive, industrial and consumer product manufacturers. He has litigated product liability cases in Illinois, New York, Tennessee, Iowa, Indiana and Wisconsin and has obtained defense verdicts in cases involving injuries such as quadriplegia, carcinoma, brain damage, pneumoconiosis, and fractures of the spine, pelvis and extremities.

Mr. Krivicich’s practice extends to commercial litigation, including construction law, as well as professional malpractice. He has also argued numerous appeals before the appellate courts of Illinois and is counsel of record in over twenty published appellate court opinions. He has spoken before professional audiences on trial techniques, the Consumer Product Safety Act, and management of mass product liability actions.

Mr. Krivicich has been named a Leading Lawyer in the areas of Class Action/Mass Tort Defense Law and Products Liability Defense Law. Mr. Krivicich is the Chairman of the Management Committee of the firm and served as the Financial Partner from 2003-2007. Mr. Krivicich also serves as one of three members of the firm's Compensation Committee. He joined the firm as a partner in 1996 having previously worked as a partner at Baker and McKenzie, and before that he was associated with Reuben & Proctor. Mr. Krivicich obtained his law degree from the University of Illinois, cum laude, and his undergraduate degree from Northwestern University. He is a former arbitrator in Cook County's arbitration program, a former director of the Trial Lawyers Club of Chicago, and the former Chairman of the Zoning Board of Appeals in Western Springs, Illinois.
