Commercial & Securities Litigation
DBMS litigates a wide array of complex commercial disputes in state and federal courts including matters of general contract, business torts and securities litigation. The firm’s attorneys represent corporations and individuals involved in shareholder and partnership disputes, as well as breaches of the Illinois Sales Commission Act and other statutory and common law remedies.

The firm represented a major securities firm in the Department of Justice and Securities and Exchange Commission investigations arising out of alleged price fixing on the NASDAQ stock exchange. DBMS defended that same firm in a national class action brought under the Sherman Act arising out of similar allegations.

The firm has also litigated both individual and class actions brought under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and the Illinois Securities Act. Its lawyers have also handled arbitration cases before the New York Stock Exchange and the NASD.
