John A. Krivicich concentrates in the defense of personal injury litigation, with emphasis on representing automotive, industrial, software, and consumer product manufacturers. In September, 2014, he was named one of Illinois’ top ten lawyers in product liability defense based on a survey of Illinois lawyers conducted by Leading Lawyers’ Magazine.
He also has an active practice defending senior care facilities, including nursing homes and assisted living facilities.
He has litigated cases in Illinois, New York, Tennessee, Iowa, Indiana, Wisconsin and Georgia and has obtained defense verdicts in cases involving quadriplegia and wrongful death. In his last five trials alone, plaintiffs’ attorneys have requested juries return awards totaling $92 million. All were defense verdicts.
Mr. Krivicich has also argued numerous appeals before the Illinois Appellate Courts and the federal Seventh Circuit and is counsel of record in over thirty published appellate court opinions.

Previously he worked as a partner at Baker and McKenzie, and before that he was associated with Reuben & Proctor.
Mr. Krivicich obtained his law degree from the University of Illinois, cum laude, and his undergraduate degree from Northwestern University. He is a former arbitrator in Cook County's arbitration program and a former director of the Trial Lawyers Club of Chicago. He was Chairman of the Zoning Board of Appeals, Western Springs, Illinois.
