Emily T. Acosta concentrates her practice in commercial litigation and professional and product liability. Additionally, she brings a wealth of experience in an array of areas, including employment, transportation, and cyber security.
Over the course of her career, she has argued motions and prepared cases for trial in both state and federal courts, deposed hundreds of witnesses, including experts and corporate representatives, and authored a variety of successful dispositive motions and critical briefs.
Ms. Acosta is a frequent speaker and has published over 20 articles on numerous civil litigation topics, including those involving social media discovery issues.
In law school, Ms. Acosta was elected President of the Student Bar Association, becoming the first woman in over a decade to hold the office, and remains involved with a number of community organizations today.
