Derek C. Springer concentrates his practice in professional negligence, product liability, and commercial litigation defense.
Mr. Springer graduated from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2019, with a Certificate of Advocacy. He earned CALI Awards for Academic Excellence in the areas of Military Law and The Law & Poverty and received the Gary David Friedman Award in Advocacy Excellence for his work with the INADR Mediation Team. Mr. Springer authored an article published in the Annals of Health Law Advance Directive titled "Taxing Covered Entities Who Opt to Not Encrypt ePHI in the Wake of National Federation of Independent Business v. Sebelius."
Mr. Springer served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Terrence Lavin, Illinois Appellate Court, First District, and worked at a prominent Chicago personal injury firm throughout his time in Law School.
