Daniel J. Cozzi is a partner at the firm. His practice concentrates on the representation of health care networks, hospitals, physicians and attorneys in malpractice lawsuits and disciplinary proceedings. He also represents clients in product liability, cybersecurity, premises liability and third-party actions.
Mr. Cozzi represented a medical practice group in a mass tort action in Cook County where 60 patients sued the practice group for negligence and bailment. He also helped resolve the cases on terms favorable to his client.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Cozzi clerked for Judge Richard B. Teitelman of the Missouri Supreme Court and served as a judicial extern for Federal Magistrate Judge Michael T. Mason of the Northern District of Illinois.

Mr. Cozzi tutors children at Midtown Educational Foundation, a Catholic organization in Chicago dedicated to mentoring urban youth. He also serves as a representative of the baseball team in the Order of the “C”, a varsity lettermen’s organization at the University of Chicago. Mr. Cozzi was selected to sit on the University of Chicago Athletics Hall of Fame Selection Committee.
