Donohue Brown Mathewson & Smyth is pleased to announce that Daniel Cozzi has been named a partner with the firm.
Mr. Cozzi’s practice focuses on the representation of health care networks, hospitals, physicians and attorneys in malpractice lawsuits and disciplinary proceedings. He also represents clients in product liability, premises liability and third-party actions.
He represented a medical practice group in a mass tort action in Cook County where 60 patients sued the practice group for negligence and bailment. He also helped resolve the cases on terms favorable to his client.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Cozzi clerked for Judge Richard B. Teitelman of the Missouri Supreme Court and served as a judicial extern for Federal Magistrate Judge Michael T. Mason of the Northern District of Illinois.
He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Chicago in 2007 and his J.D. from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis in 2010.
