Donohue Brown Mathewson & Smyth congratulates Firm Administrator Suzie Florez on her election as Special Events Director for the Greater Chicago Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators.
As a voting member of the Chicago ALA Board of Directors, Florez will work with the Professional Development Director and Business Partner Relationships Director on major educational and business development events for the chapter.
In addition, she will coordinate and plan special events activities and efforts for the Chicago ALA, including the chapter's Bi-annual Educational Conference and Business Partner Expo and its Business Partner Appreciation Event.
Florez’s new role began April 1, 2018 and will last for two years.
The Greater Chicago Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators was incorporated in 1977 and supports more than 300 members in the greater Chicago area. Its membership includes representatives from law firms of all sizes and a variety of business disciplines, including management, financial, marketing, human resources and technology.
