DBMS announces two new associates

Donohue Brown Mathewson & Smyth is pleased to announce Ashley Dus and Scott Kater have joined the firm as associates. This news comes on the heels of the firm adding Jennifer Rogers and Emmett Shaughnessy as associates over the summer.

Dus and Kater will deepen the firm’s bench in professional and products liability.

Dus concentrates her practice in professional negligence and product liability, defending both physicians and lawyers against malpractice claims and manufacturers against product liability claims. She joins following her graduation from the University of Illinois College of Law in 2016.

Kater focuses on professional negligence defense and product liability defense. He has experience representing clients in court as well as drafting memorandums, motions and other legal documents. He graduated from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2016.
