July 8, 2016

Donohue Brown Mathewson & Smyth is pleased to announce the arrival of two new associates, Jennifer Rogers and Emmett Shaughnessy.

Both will deepen the firm’s bench in professional and products liability.

Before joining Donohue Brown, Jennifer Rogers worked for five years in the claims management office of a local university, where she directed the handling of medical malpractice claims originating from the university’s tertiary care hospital, outpatient clinics, federally qualified health centers and health science colleges. While in school, she was a certified pharmacy technician in the inpatient pharmacy of a 550-bed, quaternary level hospital serving the Indianapolis metropolitan area.

Prior to his arrival at the firm, Emmett Shaughnessy clerked for the Honorable Judge Margaret Ann Brennan of the Circuit Court of Cook County, Law Division and served as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Justice Daniel Pierce of the Illinois Appellate Court, First District. He graduated from Chicago-Kent College of Law and received his undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona.
